In this beginner friendly course you will learn the basics of lettering, starting from basic strokes, practice drills, letter formation ( uppercase and lowercase ) and connecting words. You will be familiar with the techniques involved in lettering using a dip pen. At the end of the course you will be creating beautiful quotes. The classes are structured over a period of 4 hours, 2 days (2 hours each) covering the following: Day 1- Introduction and basics of Modern Dip pen calligraphy - Materials required and maintenance - Understanding basic strokes - Understanding Lowercase alphabets Day 2 - Introduction to letter formation - Understanding Uppercase alphabets - Word formations - Understanding guidelines The kit will consist of : Oblique holder - Speedball Calligraphy Ink - Leonardt 40 nib - Calligraphy Practice sheets The price is inclusive of all materials and shipping.
